When this project began, Jardan sold furniture out of a showroom and production facility in Mt Waverly, Victoria – a family owned and run business with good products and a good name, but no significant brand presence.
Working with Jardan and Melbourne graphic design studio Seesaw, the first step was to identify Jardan’s core brand values.
Each of the four values we identified represented a clear point of difference:
Family: a family company for family life.
Design: stylish design for contemporary living.
Crafting: handmade to last a lifetime.
Australian: an Australian brand for the Australian way of life.
These values guided all brand-related decisions for the business, including a stunning new visual identity, a superbly crafted website and brochure, as well as the design of Jardan’s beautiful new stores.
The brand’s essence was captured in a three word tagline…
JARDAN
Made for life.
Since implementing this branding protocol, Jardan has grown from its original showroom in Mt Waverly to flagship stores in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, an online store, a showroom in Perth and an emerging international presence.
Sales turnover has multiplied many times over as has the value of the brand.
